MJCA nominated for RTPI Awards for Planning Excellence 2023

It is with great privilege that we can announce that MJCA together with Breedon Group plc (Niall Kelly, Kris Furness) and Yorkshire Wildlife Trust have had ‘North Cave Wetlands’ shortlisted as an RTPI (Denise O’Toole) project for Planning Excellence 2023 – Best Project, which recognises projects that improve the natural environment through conservation, enhancement, or restoration.

MJCA’s Technical Director of Planning Laura Cherry has worked at the quarries in North Cave providing planning and environmental support since she was a graduate at MJCA over 20 years ago and has seen the site expand and mature to the amazing site it is today which provides nature on the doorstep of the local community and is a special site in the Yorkshire Wildlife Trust portfolio.

We are thrilled to see a minerals project listed and gain some recognition for the hard work so many people have put in over the years.
